Welcome to New Vision School and to the 2026-2027 academic year. This handbook brings together the practical information families need for a smooth, safe and successful school year.
Please keep it available throughout the year and use the contact routes in this guide so that questions reach the right person quickly.

The academic calendar is available in the Parent & Student Resources area of the school website. Families should use the latest online version for term dates, assessment periods, report-card dates, parent-teacher meetings, holidays and school events.

Morning entry: The school gates close for morning entry at 7:30 AM. Students arriving after this time must follow the late-arrival procedure in Section 2.
Each student will receive or access the class timetable through Classera. Parents and students should check Classera regularly because it is the official source for timetable updates and academic notices.

Students are expected to attend school wearing the approved NVS uniform. The following supplier diagrams show the regular uniform for each stage.

The building coordinator for each building manages textbook distribution and confirms that books reach the designated students according to the approved schedule.
If a textbook is missing, damaged or not received, report the issue immediately to the building coordinator. The case will be recorded and referred to the relevant department. Replacement is subject to availability.
Textbook home delivery is available for parents who choose this service.
Important: Classera is the final source if a teacher publishes an update or change to the schedule below.

For academic questions or concerns, begin with the person closest to the issue and allow that person time to respond before escalating.
Academic pathway: Subject Teacher > Head of Department > Senior Academic Leadership (Vice Principals)
Teachers and Heads of Department should be contacted through Classera. Communication hours are 7:00 AM-2:00 PM, with an expected response within 24 hours.
Communication etiquette: Do not send the same concern to several staff members at the same time unless the matter has already been escalated.

At New Vision School, every student is expected to:
New Vision School follows the approved student discipline regulations. When a behavioural concern occurs, the school applies the appropriate procedure according to the nature and seriousness of the concern.
Parents will be contacted when their involvement is required and are expected to work constructively with the school to support appropriate student behaviour.

Items found in a building are retained by the relevant Building Coordinator. Items found in the schoolyard are placed in the designated box near the Administration Building. Unclaimed items are kept for one academic term only.
Label belongings: Clearly label school bags, lunch boxes, water bottles, uniform items, jackets, PE clothing, books, stationery and other personal belongings.
