Where Vision Becomes Learning

Curriculum & Resources at New Vision School

Curriculum

At New Vision School, we are committed to delivering an educational program of the highest calibre, grounded in rigorous international standards and enriched by modern pedagogical resources. Our curriculum is designed not only to develop subject mastery, but also to foster critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship.

Literacy

Literacy is foundational across all grades. Our students develop strong speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through a variety of texts and genres. We employ research-based methods—including phonics in early years, workshop models, guided reading, and independent reading—to ensure that every child progresses with confidence. Writing instruction emphasizes both the craft and structure of different forms, enabling students to express themselves clearly and persuasively.

Mathematics

In Mathematics, our aim is to cultivate both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency. Students learn problem solving, quantitative reasoning, and the discipline of precision. Our program uses hands-on manipulatives, real-world applications, and collaborative learning to help students build strong number sense and the ability to think mathematically in diverse contexts.

Science

Science at New Vision is an inquiry-driven exploration. Students engage in experiments, collaborative projects, and investigation of scientific and engineering practices. Our labs and classroom resources enable hands-on learning, integrating theory with observation, hypothesis, and discovery. This prepares students for future academic work as well as lifelong curiosity in the natural world.

Languages & Cultural Studies

Our language program focuses on English and Arabic, developing fluency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students engage with literature, communication skills, and structured language exercises to build confidence and mastery in both languages. Cultural studies are integrated throughout the curriculum to nurture respect, identity, and awareness of our local and global community.

Social Studies & Civics

Social Studies is taught with an inquiry-based approach. We encourage students to analyze historical events, study geography, economics, and governance, and reflect on their roles as global citizens. Our curriculum aligns with international frameworks and local requirements to strengthen students’ understanding of their culture, country, and the wider world.

Technology & STEAM

New Vision School integrates technology across all grade levels. From early exposure to fundamentals of digital literacy and safe, responsible usage to project-based learning (STEAM) in higher grades, students explore creative problem solving, design thinking, and innovation. Our facilities and digital tools support this, helping students build skills relevant for the 21st century.
